Here are some tips to prevent work injuries during Halloween parties:
Avoid Anything That Blocks Vision
Avoid wearing masks or anything that will obstruct a person’s vision. A clear line of sight will prevent you from tripping over furniture or anything that may have been dropped on the floor. Don’t hang things that drop low from the ceiling. Having to duck to avoid running into something may cause a person to hit their head on something else or run into another person.
Limit Horseplay
Limit the rough-housing and horseplay. Avoid games that call for an excessive amount of physical activity that could result in a fall or other injury. Many people get a little too excited during games, especially if alcohol is involved. Don’t let things get out of hand. If possible, choose games that don’t involve physical participation.
Don’t Trick, Treat!
Refrain from playing pranks on co-workers. Most practical jokes are harmless, but others can get out of hand rather quickly, especially if the person being pranked is not a good sport. Instead of pulling pranks and playing tricks, treat each other instead!

Respect Company Property
Respect company property and avoid using items in ways other than what they were intended. Make sure things are cleaned up and returned to their proper place when the party is over. This will prevent someone coming into the room and tripping or falling over debris that was left behind.
